From the city limits of Greensboro (Greene County) to the city limits of Eatonton (Putnam County), GA 44 is the Lake Oconee Parkway.

Begins: Intersection with US 278 / GA 12 east of Crawfordville in Taliaferro County.
Ends: Intersection of US 221 and US 1 / GA 4 at Wrens in Jefferson County.

Notes: Multiplexed with US 378 for 17 miles, and with US 221 for 31 miles. GA 47 was once routed from Appling to Leah, in Columbia County, through Phinizy, instead of it's current route along US 221 to Pollards Corner and north to Leah. The change apparently took place between 1984 and 1993. From its intersection with GA 104 in Columbia County to its intersection with GA 10/US 78 in Wilkes County, GA 47 is part of the Joe Wheeler Highway. Also, in Columbia County, from GA 150 north to the Little River bridge, the road is designated the Jack Eubank Memorial Highway.


GEORGIA 48
Begins: Alabama state line west of Cloudland in Chattooga County.
Ends: Intersection with US 27 / GA 1 at Summerville in hattooga County.

GEORGIA 49
Begins: Intersection with GA 45 north of Dawson in Terrell County.
Ends: Intersection with GA 22 / 24 at Milledgeville in Baldwin County.

Notes: Portion of GA 49 from Fort Valley to I-75 at Byron is part of future Fall Line Freeway. GA 49 Connector forms northern bypass around Fort Valley. From GA 127 at Marshallville (Macon County) to US 280 at Americus (Sumter County), this is part of the Andersonville Trail. GA 49 Connector around Fort Valley and GA 49 from the GA 49 Connector to Interstate 75 (all in Peach County) are part of the Peach Parkway. GA 49 from Fort Valley (Peach County) to Americus (Sumter County) is also designated the Andersonville POW Memorial Trail.

From GA 61/US 411 in Chatsworth to the Gilmer County line it's the Woody Glenn Highway. In Whitfield County, from Interstate 75 east to the Murray County line, it is the Harry Leon Simpson Parkway. Through Dahlonega (Lumpkin County), GA 52 is part of the Morrison Moore Highway. From GA 515/US 76 at Ellijay (Gilmer County) to GA 61/US 411 in Murray County, GA 52 is part of the Southern Highroads Scenic Highway. Part of GA 52 Alternate in Murray County is also named the Clarence Riddle Highway. GA 52 Connector in Whitfield County is the Admiral Mack Gaston Parkway.


GEORGIA 53
Begins: Alabama state line at Floyd/Polk County line.
Ends: Intersection with GA 15 at Watkinsville in Oconee County.

Morrow, Jr. Parkway.


GEORGIA 54
Begins: Intersection with US 27 / GA 1 in north Troup County.
Ends: Intersection with I-75/85, exit 89, at Atlanta in Fulton County.
